Do Polish citizens need a visa for Canada?
Polish citizens who are planning to travel to Canada must obtain a visa prior to their arrival into the country. However, thanks to a new regulation, it is now easier than ever to obtain a Canadian visa for Polish citizens. The process is fast and easy and can be done from the comfort of your own home.
ETA visa requirements for Polish Citizens
There are a handful of Canada visa requirements for Polish travelers. This includes but is not limited to the following items:
- A valid Polish passport – All Polish citizens must have a valid Polish passport in order to travel to Canada (and get a Canadian eTA visa!). It is also recommended to have at least 6 months of validity in your passport so that there are no problems entering the country
- Personal information – While filling out the application, all travelers will need to provide information that pertains to their passport, personal information (address, contact information), employment, and travel details/itinerary
- Phone, tablet, or computer – In order to fill out the application, travelers will need a device with internet access, such as a phone, tablet, or computer
- A valid form of payment – Travelers will need a valid form of payment, such as a debit or credit card, to pay the eTA application fees
How to get a Canadian visa from Poland?
Obtaining a tourist visa to Canada from Poland is simple, easy, and takes only a few minutes.
Travelers can obtain their eTA to Canada from Poland by starting an online application. There, they will need to fill out information about themselves (full name, date of birth), contact details (address, email), employment history, and travel itinerary. The process takes less than 30 minutes to complete. After the application is ready, travelers will need to pay the eTA fee and wait. In most cases, travelers can expect to receive a decision within a few minutes, although some requests can take several days to process due to demand or other factors.
Once your electronic authorization is granted, it is automatically linked electronically to your passport. The best part about the new Canadian eTA is that it is valid for five years (or until your passport expires, whichever comes first). That means that travelers do not have to constantly reapply for the eTA, even if they plan to visit Canada multiple times. Please note that the “tourist visa” to Canada from Poland be used for multiple entries as long as they are under 90 days in duration.
